Work is going very well, and I'm continuing to make steady progress :) More details are below!
What are we working on?
I'm currently fleshing out gameplay for the first adventure zone. More fun, more replayable and much more lewd are the goals here. To start with, we've got several new encounters on the way, including a highly reputable Merchant (who definitely won't gamble all of your hard-earned gold away), a pair of Elven healers, long-forgotten stashes of Loot, and new monsters to battle and charm.
I've also significantly improved the core RPG loop, including character creation and progression - more about that closer to release!
In addition to all of the new encounters, I've spent some time working on the environment they'll be living in. Considerable improvements to the Island biome's terrain and foliage have enabled me to crank up density and fidelity across the board - all whilst improving performance. I'm very excited to show these improvements off :)
When is the next build coming out?
0.9.0 will be ready for Early Access release in the first week of July, with an update including bug fixes for General Access to come in late July.
